The River Queen: A regal, art deco boutique cruise ship (recently rated #1 ship in the entire cruise industry in the 2012 Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Cruise Poll)<\/p><\/div>\n

This October, actually late September we are off for Europe with friends Shoe and Carol. The trip and itinerary is pretty much complete, at leas the big decisions. \u00c2\u00a0Of course there will be minor changes along the way but we now have a good idea as to there we will be when.<\/p>\n

Pat and I will depart the USA \u00c2\u00a0on or about September 28, 2013 via Space-A, Shoe and Carol will be using commercial air.Our plan is to meet up in Amsterdam, Netherlands on October 1 at the Bellevue Hotel.<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0We board the River Queen<\/a> on October 3, 2013<\/p>\n

We arrive in Basal Switzerland (10\/15)\u00c2\u00a0and pick up a car and head east towards Zurich and possibly Lugano, (Hotel TBD) then on to Vaduz in Liechtenstein to the hotel Landhaus am Giessen<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0(10\/16-17),\u00c2\u00a0where we spend our second night off the boat. \u00c2\u00a0The next day we tour the city of Vaduz then head for\u00c2\u00a0Royal Castles Neuschwanstein where we spend the night at the\u00c2\u00a0Hotel M\u00c3\u00bcller<\/a> Hohenschwangau (10\/17-18). \u00c2\u00a0Our next stop Augsburg and the Hotel Villa Arborea<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0(10\/18-19). Note: We may do a side trip to Munich.<\/p>\n

Our next stop is a apartment in the Black Forest area for a week that we will use as a home base in Germany. \u00c2\u00a0We arrive on 10\/19-10\/26 at the\u00c2\u00a0Apartment in Zell am Harmersbach<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0On Saturday we board a train to Paris for a week in Paris at the Marais Style<\/a> apartment (10\/26-11\/2). \u00c2\u00a0Shoe and Carl head back to the USA and Pat and I hang around for a couple more days hoping to arrive state-side on November 6th.<\/p>\n
