As a retired military family one of the opportunities that is afford us is to fly Space Available on Military planes from bases in the USA to destinations around the world.

Taxi Service -Â Ramstein Taxi Service
Note – when taking a Taxi back to the base, be sure to verify with the driver that they have authority to enter the base; so you get to your destination.
Train from Landsthul – Â from the Landsthul station you can get a train to Kaiserslautern.
Train from Kaiserslautern – from Kaiserslautern you can get trains to all points in Europe. We almost alway take the train to Paris (about $132) with advanced reservation ($72).
There is also a Travel Agency in the KMCC facility that can help with your transportation, however they do not open until 1000 hours and only M-F.
Note – Due to variables and schedule flexibility we recumbent not making reservations until you have a seat. Â You can go online from the waiting area and make a reservation. Â Heading back to the US you are safer making an advanced reservation because getting to Germany is under your control, however, you may be spending time in the hotel.
